While I agree, I enjoy watching these trash animes because they sometimes contain little bits of perfection. In this case, the characters. The seiyuu work was more than exquisite, especially in Iris. Officially the one of the cutest dragons.

Even in the recently released gacha, Sin Chronicle, she's voicing a cat spirit.

the characters were written as bad as it can be..
the stupid girls are always screaming for no apparent reason, they are practically 2 of the strongest human girls and still squeak like little kids..
just give them more confidence.. you dont always need the typical "i am a helpless maiden" character
there was basically ZERO character development
you dont watch a show like this for characters to always stay the same

sorry bud, I disagree, this anime knows what it is and that's why I stayed with it 12 episodes. There is a fair level of character development, a fair level of enjoyment. To each their own, I mean it's not super great, but it's popcorny or chips worthy, and way better than any anime that wrings and wrings the character development or as I call them these days, shonens. It's entertaining, much more than anything Disney or Hollywood has released as of lately

i do also agree, that most of the trash hollywood or disney produce nowadays is actually horendous.
However, there are a lot of anime that just have better writing and are funnier in general
this one wasnt as bad as quite a few others (which is why i also watched it all the way through) but it really isnt anything special, that will stay in my mind for long

What are you talking about there are clearly worse Isekai than Kenja no Mago. Kenja no Mago is a godsend compared to the absolutly abhorrent Isekai "In Another World With My Smartphone" that's my number 1 worst pick. Right above that in second is "Deathmarch" and above that "Cheat Magicians". Trash Isekais all at the bottom of the barrel heck I'll just include "Leadale" as my number 4 pick for worst isekai.

I mean after looking at all the other animes that came this season, I wouldn't be suprised if he/she was sad. Idk who wrote it but I would always love me some good isekai show so I hope he/she gets better at story writing and all the things that come with it.
